Stupid question, but will front swaybar links work in on the rear swaybar?

Stupid question, but will front swaybar links work on the rear swaybar?

I broke a rear link a few months ago at the ORV park, and since I do very short communtes to and from work, I put replacing it on the back burner. Last week I went down to Chicago and spent some time on the highway, and realized how gnarly it is to do 80mph with no rear swaybar. I found a pair of brand new *front* links on CL for very cheap ($25) and want to throw them on. I know they're a bit longer, but other than that, they'll fit just fine, right?

The front links look a bit larger to me, but for $25 you could give it a shot. if not , re-sell them on here! i might just buy them off you.........

as far as I know, the actual diameter of the link is the same, it's just the length that's different. I'm thinking I'll be good as long as replace BOTH of the rears so the length matches. I'll definitely keep you posted if they don't work though!

Look up my build thread, you can make your own sway bar links for that much that are better out of energy suspension links.

Actually, I saw your thread. I was planning on making my own based off of what you did, but for $25 for the pair, I don't want to pass it up. I love your truck, BTW.

I put 2nd gen (95) swaybar links on the back of mine. They are about 2 1/2" longer, and were about $40-50 for the pair.

I have front endlinks on the back of my 4runner. They work perfectly and allow extra droop in the back compared to the stock rear endlinks. That's a good deal and will be well worth the purchase.

This is my flex with my endlinks still connected (fronts are installed on the back).

From what I remember the front endlinks are actually thicker than the back. I couldn't reuse the washers from the front on the back because of this.

Yeah they make the rear swaybar a bit more parallel and allow for more articulation.
