Regarding the RAS and adjustment, I noticed no significant change in ride quality with the bags adjusted to ride about an inch higher than stock. I put a few thousand miles on mine and never felt it was impacting the ride enough to be noticeable.

With the Daystar 1" kit, expect to gain 1.75"-2" lift. It will provide more than they claim. This may be fine for you, but many think that's a little "too" level.

So I've been doing more searching mania on this and I saw a bunch of threads on the Daystar 1" producing 2" lift or similar, so that seems to be the consensus.

I don't want the "bro rake" e.g. neg rake. What about Cornfed 1"? I believe this is the unit on Burtman's site and they say it produces 1" actual lift. I'll get there yet...

The Cornfed lift will provide right at 1". Toytec also has a spacer that'll give you 1" and is a cheaper than the Cornfed. With the front suspension, you will get double the spacer thickness for lift. The Cornfed and Toytec are both 1/2" thick spacers. Daystar doesn't believe the 2:1 ratio exists so they advertise their spacers based on thickness (at least the 1" spacer they do, I'm not sure on the 2.5/1.5 kit).
