Stats fail on my part... I clicked the sort by points column and apparently it didn't happen. Oh and on top of that I looked at Panthers instead of the Saints. So yeah, double fail.
It's still 10th and 11th in points vs Denver facing 3rd and 12th. I'd still say that's a tougher test and a vast improvement over the regular season. I just wouldn't bank on their defense giving it up like they were earlier in the season... especially not to the Seahawks pedestrian offense.

I'd say yards per game maybe? But even then SF was #24 and NO was #4

Yep, default sort is YPG and then it didn't help I looked at Car instead of NO... :doh: I'm owning up to it though.

Agreed! Stats can be found to support pretty much every position. I know one we can all agree on both teams are 15-3 and the best two in the NFL. We're ready for some football!!
Here is what hope for 1) no significant injuries for either team 2) The zebras have minimal involvement.

And the Broncos scored 189 more points which is 11 more a game than Seattle scored. Advantage: Broncos.
My thoughts (since you did ask!):
* Strength against strength is a wash.
* Manning & Denver's offense is going to get points. Probably not the 37+ average but probably more like the 26 against the Patriots.
* Maybe Manning throws a bad ball & gets a pick. Maybe Moreno has a fumble. I don't think Seattle can convert on these opportunities. I don't think they have the offense.
* Denver's defense isn't great, but it's good enough. Most of their liabilities were exposed when trying to hold onto a lead when Fox goes into prevent mode.
Bottom line is that I don't think much of Seattle's offense. I take Denver 28-24 with Seattle scoring 14 in the last quarter to make it close.

OK OK OK, I know I said no more stats, but I was curious about something. Looked up common opponents between the two teams this year and found we both played the Giants, Jags and Colts. And both of us beat both the Jags and Giants, but lost to the Colts.

In the Giants and Jags games both, they let off the gas. I'm not really sure why and that's been a concern of mine all season... though they seemed to not do it in the post season. It's a terrible habit to get into though.
The Colts loss in inexplicable on paper. It's just one of those games where the underdog rises up and the favorite doesn't deliver. (Kind of like the Seahawks losing to the Cardinals at home)
It's an interesting comparison though.

Got another fact to share. How many Top 15 Defenses have Seattle and Denver played against this year all 18 games?

Interesting... but in those 4 games the Broncos averaged 494.5 yards and 44.5 points per game. How did the Seahawks fare in their best 4 offensive performances of those games?

Ah, wasn't sure if you still had the stats in front of you or not. I probably would just said top 5 if I were you... since Denver hasn't played any of them.
