Super Confused about Tires - Need New ones - MN, city/hwy/dirt roads

Hey guys, I'm super confused about tires. I have a 2011 SR5 4R, the stock dunlops are totally fried after 45K (probably fried after 40K), and I need to tire up in a hurry.

I moved from CA (not much snow, except in Tahoe, and stompin around fire service roads) to MN (MUCH more snow, still mostly city/hwy, but drive long distances to mountains to get back into some sketchy dirt tracks near trail heads).

I thought I had it narrowed down to the Firestone Destination A/T or the LE2 (mostly b/c the firestone dude talked me down from A/T to the LE2).

Any advice? Will take it all. I need to upgrade super quick, these things are toast.

What's a guy to do?

Then do a search for tires. That is a better place to post and get responses. There is ad nauseum discussion about tires.

I have 38,000 on my stock dunlops, and estimate they have another 10,000 miles in them, but I just ordered some goodyear wrangler silent armors from tirerack. Had some on a dodge pickup a few years ago and liked them quite a bit. Was torn between those and the Michelin LTX MS2 which is a great tire, but the goodyear has a little more aggressive tread for snow and mud.

Thanks so much for all the help. The 'search' for tires on here probably confused me more than anything...

I'm probably leaning toward the Michelin LTX, playin it safe. I love the aggressive look of the A/T tires, but <10% of my driving will be off-road. I live in the damn city, as much as I'd love to be in the moutains!

I had some Toyo Open Country HTs on a Tacoma I had. Good looking highway tread tire. But then again, I tend to be partial to Toyo tires. They generally balance really well and have great treadwear and warranties.
