supercharger and 87 fuel w/water-meth injection?

Is anyone running 87 with water/meth? Honestly if I can't find a way to keep running 87 then the supercharger is not an option as I like having a car that takes 87 as all of my other cars are boosted so 93 is getting very pricey these days.

I would think it would work with the 6 or so psi that it makes on a bone stock fuel system.?

50/50? I would THINK you would be okay as meth raises the octane...but I'd still put 93 in myself.

How much are you going to spend on the meth injection setup, and how many years will it take saving .15/gallon of gas to pay for that?

You gotta pay to play. If fuel economy is a concern, you're in the wrong truck with the wrong mods.

The difference in price is so minimal that I don't even think about it anymore.

Have one less Latte/Mocha a week.

you do realize the difference between a tank of 87 and a tank of 93 is roughly $7 or so, right?

Well here in FL 93 is 30+ cents more per gallon so it adds up fast being my daily driver and not super fuel friendly in the 1st place.
at 1.5 tanks of fuel per week the turn off of running 93 is still there

which adds up to about 30 per month more than now and that is if prices stay the same sometimes I have seen as much as a 60 cent difference but it's already painful with my other cars that require premium not to mention that does not include any trips out of town which I am going to use it to tow my evo across the country for events a few times per year so it gets costly however if grand national guys are getting away with 87 fuel and water meth then its something that is worth looking in to for the 4runner.

That would probably be the cheaper route. You will probably use a gallon per tank of fuel, depending on driving style. So that is 3-4 bucks...so now you are saving, what, a dollar or two?

Might I suggest the city bus?

Shit. I was going through a tank every 3-4 days. More than that if I decided to make the trip home on the weekends. That was about 3 ranks right there.

Yes washer fluid would be used and that is another Item I can get from the shop for nothing as we buy it in mega bulk and yes if I paid retail for all of this stuff I would be in it very deep but having an "in" helps greatly.
