Supercharger

I'd put the TRD one on. I've been running one for about 5 years. It's great. It only dyno's about 335 RWHP, but it really bumps up through the mid range. And the MPG is about the same.

You running anything else on your 4runner besides the TRD Supercharger? I was looking at that kit, but its pricey and doesn't seem to add much power.

And this is what happens when 1engineer goes AWOL. I hope everyone's enjoying this kinder gentler T4R.org:toilet:

Sometimes a little tough love/ reality helps

I click on these links these days to see the hilarious comments.
:flamethrwoer2:

I myself decided to go with a supercharger off of the LT1 from a Corvette Z06. No tuning or anything.

To the OP...as you can see by comments, no supercharger yet. But Gadget is close from what I remember.

Or someone tell me I am wrong.

In before lock.

Sorry....I'm kinda new around here. Why the negative reaction towards SC this engine? It's pretty much a given that it needs more power. I've owned my '16 only a short time, but I very much like the vehicle other than its gross lack of power. Just like my Rubicon I previously owned.....starving for a small V8.

Because there is no supercharger yet, and it spawns dumb ass threads like this.

Welcome to the jungle, baby!

I thought the Z06 was only available beginning in the C5 LSX equipped vettes. In another life I knew all the GM specs, but I've forgotten more than I remember.

My username says it all. The TRD supercharger has proven to be too expensive for the amount of power it produces. An imported 1jzgte fits almost perfectly in our 4runner. Give me a sec, i'll post some pics and dyno sheets.
