Lol, thanks man! I'm really feeling that Subie! I've wanted an STi for forever now. I've come really close to pulling the trigger on some and I still look for one every day. My first car was a Subaru and that thing was bullet-proof.
I'd come an say I'm sittin higher! but his truck is way cleaner inside an out

But in all seriousness, I actually think the height is perfect for the set-up right now. You and Bobby were sitting higher this weekend, but my girl is high up enough that the suspension has room to work and I get to maintain a lower COG at the sacrifice of some break over clearance. I'll be close to you guys after I throw that spacer puck back in the rear and crank these Foxies up! Then it might be time for some 35's

Yup, I'm with you. I came from a Nissan 350Z. Cool little car... Fast, good looking, good handling. But it just didn't fit my lifestyle at the time. I was traveling to a lot of venues for paintball competitions and didn't have any room to haul gear and team mates. Also, I have a big bull-dog (my avatar). That car used to get messed with at hotels where the paintballers stayed and sometimes the fields weren't easy to get to in such a low vehicle. That prompted the switch. Overall I love my Runner WAY more. The fit and finish of the Z isn't even close to the 4R. I kept the Z only one year... I've had the 4Runner for over 6.
I can see how buying an alreaded modded vehicle makes sense on the time and financial side... and yeah, you get to enjoy the finished product, but it's definitely not the same as building it yourself.
I fortunately got all of my speeding and crazy driving out of my system before I ever owned my Z and street bike. Otherwise, I'd have probably killed myself in one of them if I still drove like I was 16.

small update
Was able to get a little wrenching in yesterday. I had a small hit list of items that I wanted to get done and was able to knock it out.
First, I wanted to put one of my old Daystar 1.5" rear spacers back in on the driver side to account for the lean.
Next, I wanted to flatten out my pinch welds that my front tires love to scrub on so much when I'm off road.
And finally, I wanted to crank my coilovers up to account for the height gained in the rear from the spacer, the height lost from the bumper, and to stiffen up the ride a little bit after the bumper.
I was able to try out my Hi-Lift jack for the first time... What a sketchy piece of equipment. I hope to never have to use that thing again.
Today, I had my alignment re-done and surprisingly, the numbers are better now than it was at the previous height:

But anyway, I'm ecstatic about the new stance and ride. It's so good to have it level since I'm an OCD perfectionist. Hopefully the work I put on the pinch welds was enough. We'll see.

Santa Claus with the help of Gaterose made it by the house over the holidays to drop something off for the truck.
It was a 20" Hanma BC Series, dual row LED light bar featuring CREE LED's and a new poly-carbonate lens:
Install day at Aha2988's. I helped him install his Clazzios and he helped my with the light bar. Also knocked out an oil change while I was out there. Great time catching up with my buddy:

Are u asking if my low beams are legal? Yeah they are. They're not even HID (took those out) they're just the high end sylvania's. I think they're called silverstar ULTRA. I love them though. They're excellent. Gonna put them in the wife's car.
Oh but if you're asking if the light bar is street legal with low beams... Um no. This thing looks like a UFO landing its so bright.

I thought there were two modes for the light bars. Didn't know if you could use it as a driving light on low power or not. Clearly your headlights are legal, smartass lol.

Oh well in that case, no. The bar is definitely strictly for off-road use only. There's no "driving" mode. There's only "off" or "blind yo ass" modes.

Lookin' great PD! How about a daytime shot or two of how the bar fits the bumper?
I use mine on the highway occasionally, it's so bright that I get nervous though unless I know I'm on a pretty lonesome road. There is a company that makes a relay that will make the LED bars function on two different power levels (i.e. bright/dim) but I can't remember who makes it for the life of me.
I looked into then realized that if I'm turning on highs I may as well be in "blind yo ass" mode (since even standard highs are gonna blind traffic).
edit- and I'm sure PD will answer your question too, but his bar is combo pattern. The outside 6 (or 8?) reflectors on each side are flood and the rest in the middle are spot.

I have to agree, it does seem rather prehistoric.
Definitely a piece of gear to get comfortable with. As sketchy as it feels initially, those things are bullet poof. All those slack tolerances that make it feel poorly made and not quite trustworthy actually ensure that it will still work as intended even when caked with mud and slime.
I think that after you play with it a bit you become more comfortable with that uncomfortable feeling... If that makes any sense.
One thing to know is that thing can really hurt you if you don't know how to use it.

Thanks seevik! Like Matt said, it's a combo pattern. The outer 8 (4 on each side) are flood and the center are spot pattern.

I'm tempted all the time to flick this thing on, but I'll do it only if I'm alone and only for a little bit. If there is any chance that I'll see oncoming traffic, I resist.
Yeah, I messed with it a little and I had my floor jacks and jack stands everywhere as back-up... and it was a good thing that I did cause this thing ended up falling sideways. I picked it up from a slider and I think I'll get a slider adapter before doing that again. It may feel more stable lifting from the bumper.
I do need to fool with it some more, but I'm not sure if it's in proper operating order. I bought it used and don't know much about the equipment. I can get to go up easily, but I had trouble getting it to come back down all the way. I'll have to check it out.

PD the light bar looks awesome, do you have some day light pics with the light bar off, to see the setup, i can wait to put mine on. Which harnest did you use for light bar connection. Tx

Thanks Alex. Yeah I'm still working on getting y'all some more pics. The weather has been atrocious the last couple of days and it's my first day back at work since being off for 2 and a half weeks, so I'm busier than hell playing catch up.
I actually used the harness and switch that came with my Rigid Dually's. Good thing I saved it.

Sound good man. I came back from vacation and trying to catch up too. I saw you are planning a trip on Jan 26th. Can you tell me a little more about SC, i'm gonna see if i'm gonna have time maybe come to SC tour the city and see if i can come with you guys to wheel.
