You can have a new mount welded onto the axle housing if the axle housing isn't too rusted away. Best bet might be to get a used axle housing that isn't so rusted. This might be hard to do in the salt zone.

Hehe, in the salt belt that's what we call "rust free".

It took me a few minutes to see the broken UCA as I was focused on the weepage around the rear diff cover.

Living in the rust belt one of the biggest issues we have is the unbelievably thin metal cap over the rear diff rusting out and eventually losing all the rear diff oil. And then if you don't notice it running the rear diff dry......

Ask me how I know this............

I did buy a plate steel replacement cover and have it welded on to eliminate that happening in the future.

Living with the whine in the rear end for now.......

Just get the UCA mount welded back on. Check the other side as well since it's most likely in the same rusty condition. Also see if you can get a truss for it to beef them up a bit so this doesn't happen again. Local 4x4 shop would be able to hook you up with what you need.
