omg.. it had been 3 months since I had updated my thread.

well, school started again last week.. say bye-bye to the next 6 months.

but on the bright side, me and my father went to the dealer and had them started to locate us an 5th gen TRD PRO 4runner.. this is going to be a replacement vehicle for my father.. however though, if they can't get it.. we will be on the search for an GS350 F-sports.

well needless to say.. today, it sucked. had class this morning, after i got out.. found out my mum got a ticket this morning and then this afternoon, I got in a traffic collision. some guy followed way too closed behind me and rear ended me..

is not how i imagine my today was gonna be..

On the bright side though, the person that hit me, he is taking full responsibility of it.

thanks bud.. i was really shocked when i got rear ended today.. my hand was shaking and my heart was pumping pretty quick.. cause this is my first time being in an traffic accident.

Take the cash option and just take the rear bumper off, looks way better without it.

When mine broke I got one of these. It fits over your current one. Had I known at the time that there were replacement shells, I would probably have gotten one of them instead, but this is another option.

my rear license holder is getting pretty worn, does anyone have the paint code for it? cause I would like to touch it up..

just tape it off and repaint it whatever color you want

I've looked and found nothing. You need to buy a new piece from Toyota which is pricey. I heard of places that can scan the existing paint on the panel and blend up a matching can of paint. This is what I will eventually do.

I will go to napa tomorrow and see what they can do..

i did get a quote from the dealer for that piece of trim and is somewhere in the $130's range.

It's so easy to make it yourself, but i think Rob up in chico makes one.
