Surco roof rack question?!?!!?

Hello all. I Got a surco roof rack for 20.00 from my friend, Im trying to find the right mount for my tr4, called surco and they are telling me its part # 1101 so I google it, Really 120.00 ? wtf, Isnt there any other way, Btw I only plan on using it for trips.. thanks:bluejump:

Yes those Surco adapters are really expensive. I had a Surco 45/60 basket on my 3rd gen 4Runner. I would try to look on Amazon or eBay and get a used part. You could powder coat the part if it had some scratches on it but it's well worth the money. And so is the rack, I used mine all the time. Is your rack the basket?
