I am currently in the process of starting a project, well a idea that came to mind during some troubleshooting my rig using a go pro.
I am thinking about building what I call a Suspension chassis monitoring system using this
purpose of this would be used for several different ways and purposes on and off road. I think it would be a great advantage to have live video of your rig suspension and chassis at work during certain condition for example clearing a rocky area. being able to see under the rig during certain situations could save your butt some money if the maneuver was questionable giving u that chance to back off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlzdBU2u2E.. Other uses would be troubleshooting something in your suspension that seem loose or noisey the camera pictured above has audio built into it so hearing the sound could prove valuable in diagnosing the issue and take some guess work out of the equation.
Things I am trying to figure out with this is storage of the video feed and how to be able to switch between the cameras video on maybe a tablet or some other type of device navigation unite etc. This is a work in progress and would love other thoughts on the idea, or maybe I am just wasting the time but I think this could actually work. I got this bright idea from my tool box using a handle tool called Chassis ears but I just wanted to take it to the next level.
