Suspension knocking, HELP!!

Okay so lately I've noticed a knocking or clicking noise coming from my suspension which is mostly stock/original except for ball joint spacers. Today I isolated the problem and found out that the noise is coming from the drivers side front. I have not pin pointed it yet however because I have to jump up and down on the back bumper to make the noise and my girlfriend is neither big or strong enough to move the truck for that long lol. If anyone has had these problems and know what it is please let me know its becoming annoying cruising around with the windows down

I also have a sort of knocking or almost like a clicking coming from the front suspension. it's usually heard most when going over short abrupt bumps, not like speed bumps. I'm at a lost as to what it is. But as you said, it gets a little annoying when the windows are down. Which is all the time if weather permits. Anyone have any experience with this mystery noise? Sounds like it's probably a bushing that's worn away, but that's just my best guess. haven't truly investigated yet. i'll have my 4runner up on a rack in a couple weeks and get a good look underneath then. Will check back if I find anything.

I would bet a 6 pack its your shocks. If you here a clang or clacking when you drive over pot holes or bumps in the rd, its most likely the shocks blown out and they need to be replaced.
