Thanks harper. I'm going to see what these guys have to say first, plus i don't have facebook. i'm probably one of the few 26 year olds without it, but i'm proud of that! plus i'm not sure how much he had to do with the build. seems more like he was a figurehead to get sponsors, attention, etc.

What answers I'm hoping to get from them:

Was the BAJA truck lifted? - yes.
If so, what was used? - 2.5 front, OME springs, light load rear
Can the truck be lifted and retain KDSS? - yes
If so, what is the procedure for disabling KDSS prior to lift install? - waiting on clairification

updates as they're available.

So Rich got back to me today. I learned the front was lifted 2.5 inches. I'm guessing with OME springs, without a top plate spacer, but I wrote him back to see for sure. He said the rear was lifted with OME springs, light load version (same as an FJ).

About the KDSS, he said it is a "fully manual sealed unit, so there was no need to modify it with that amount of lift." I really dont understand what this means to me. Does this mean i can just install a lift and not worry about it? i just don't know. So i emailed him back for some clarification on that as well.
