Hello all, I’ve been looking on these forums for the past few days and have spent countless hours researching a way to lift my 4runner. I have a 2007 sports edition 4x4 V8 164,000 miles with XREAS. I think I narrowed my choice to the Bilstein 5100 shocks. I know these shocks are adjustable and I want my ride with at least 2.5” lift and to level out the truck. After the lift is completed, I want to install larger all terrain tires that are bigger than the stock that’s currently on without any cutting of the bumper.
So what is the best option for me? The goal is to raise the truck about 2.5” and also to level it. Do the bilstein shocks work for the rear end for the sports edition? I heard adding the FJ springs work well with the bilstein shocks.
