Swapping A/T shift knob

Anyone know if the shift knob from an earlier model can be put on the 95? The style that was put on my 4Runner rubs my leg when I drive (and not in a good way) so I wanted to swap it out for the fighter plane-esque shift lever.

If it is possible, anyone got a spare one laying around off a parts car or something?
