Swapping SR5 stock tires to TRD rims, silly question

FYI, those are not OEM. OEM is 7” wide not 8”, also are matte. Might be a kncockoff. Only “copy” I would use is the FN brand personally.

I have heard great results from that size. Yes, I have snowy roads, and yes it slightly narrower (1/2"), but again I think they'll fit the vehicle perfectly. The size is lighter, is a 32" tire, and from what I have read makes the vehicle perform well under most circumstances. It has been a long debate between these and 275's. I have come to the conclusion that the lighter and narrow tire will perform well for my intended purposes.
I was contemplating 275/70/17 Wildpeaks at 57 lbs. or 255/75/17 at 39 lbs. a tire. Both 32"s
The 255's with a light wheel will probably make the car perform better in most situations save for deep mud or rock crawling. Also may improve city MPG.
For fun, try to convince me otherwise... I am open minded.

I thought because they are advertised as Toyota OEM that they are legit. They have great reseller ratings. It may just be a typo. If not they are shady for advertising

Those are definitely not OEM. They are reproductions and not very good ones. Look closely at the spokes and center caps. You can get OEM ones shipped for less than $100 more.

It’s a simple swap ,did the same. Sr5 wheels I sold for $400 or so and bought the trd pro wheels at 650 or so . It’s purely cosmetic look though , I would prefer an aftermarket wider wheel but happy with it overall and cost wasn’t bad
Well, i pulled the trigger and ordered em. I think the sale ends 4/1(although i bet there will be another eventually).
I'm sure they will look funny on stock tires, but i like that I'm pushing things in the right direction to get the look i want. Between the wheels, the cargo box and the chinese grill, i'm already headed down a rabbit hole with upgrades/mods/changes aren't I? I'm excited about it though as I don't usually do this kind of stuff.

How feasible would it be for me to get $100/wheel? It's SR5 wheels with minor scuffs and scratches from when the dealer re-balanced my tires many many times.
I have seen brand new SR5 rims on ebay going for less than that shipped.

Possible tire rub with swap
I am also considering swapping from stock SR5 whees to the TRDs. Both are 7" wide, but the offest is different (more negative on the TRDs). It seems that many people have made the swap without problems. At least one owner apparently got rubbing--perhaps the tire size or brand of tire they used was just enough bigger to catch a corner of tread. In any case, there is the real possibility that the change in offset might change the tire position enough to make rubbing a risk with the TRD wheels but not with the stock wheels.
