Magnetic4r. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the ride now is fantastic. I will take your advice and wait until after bumper install. Will measure height before and after to see how much sag i experience. No third row seats, just sliding rear platform.

I believe an advantage i have is that i do have the adjusters on my King shocks. I know that wont prevent sag, but i am currently running softest setting, and can crank them stiffer after bumper to control any mush, if any.

I have the SAW and love them. My measurement in the rear on both sides is 23.5 from center of hub to fender. You mentioned that you were thinking about toytec boss in the front. I also have the toytec boss 2.5 performance. I have to say, the ride is really good, but the springs have continued to settle. It's driving me crazy. I have over 900 miles on them now. I've cranked the springs down nearly an inch on one side and 1/2 inch on the other to keep it at 2.5 inches in the front. I called toytec and they said it's normal. They wouldn't do anything about it. They continue to sag and I continue to crank them down. For 1100 bucks, this is crap.I wish there were other springs I could put on these struts. The spring rate is 650 lbs.

Hey Jhalko. Dragging up an old thread.
I currently have 1.5" SAW coils in the rear. Just ordered the SSS rear bumper in group buy thanks to Fargo4x4. I see that you have the CBI rear bumper...Do you still have the 1.5" SAW springs in rear? If not, what did you change to? And, did you change because added CBI bumper weight caused sag, mushy ride, especially when loaded???

My advice, just try it and see, I still have the SAW coils and honestly the ride is great but I lost 1/2" of height (more or less, one side isn't quite that much). I will swap them out later this summer most likely to toytec superflex HD, but only because I'll be also adding the Indel B fridge (already in garage) and a small drawer on one side of the cargo area adding even more weight on top of my third row. I'm perfectly level after adding the bumper but prefer a little rake given what I carry at times.

To Fstop with sag on the front, you comment about toytec boss but you have ultimate in your sig, not following that, but having to adjust twice does not sound normal.

Edit:Funny looking at my truck posted in this thread from a year or so ago, it looks much better after replacing rockers and tires, glad I didn't offroad with those factory steps.

I called Toytec today after I found these on their site:
Sway-A-Way Rear 1.5" Lift Coils

Everything I've read on here says that they were discontinued and replaced by the eibach version on wheelersoffroad.com. According to the Toytec sales guy the ones listed on their site ARE the Swa-a-way 1.5" coils. They save the sway-a-way logo stamped into them.

My shop is ordering them today so I really hope they are right. Just wanted to share for anyone looking for a sub 2" lift.

Lol now I have to ask. If you had pics I would be VERY appreciative. I don't want to pay for install more than once... I was aware that this spring https://wheelersoffroad.com/product/eibach-suspension-229844/wheelers-t12-rear-coil-spring-pair/ was more like 2'-2.5" but from what I've heard about the actual SAW 1.5" is that it's closer to 1.5"... You'd be hard pressed to find someone who got 1.5 from these coils. Not saying no one has, but in my research it's pretty rare. Most folks get 2 inches of lift or a hair under (like myself).

Thanks for the info! This has been quite the wild goose chase. Supposedly the 5100's can only take 2" of lift in the rear but if these are higher then I don't know what to expect... I suppose lots of people on the forum are running this spring with 5100's and I haven't seen anyone post issues. Sounds like I might need to go with 2.5" in the front instead of 1.75" to keep some rake but not look like a dragster...

For what it's worth, I just purchased the SAW from Toytec and went with the 5100's all around (up front the Toytec Ultimate coil over) and I kept a near factory rake leaning towards the less factory rake side. I would say I got about 2" of lift in the rear initially. Once it settled, I was right around that 1.75 " marker. I think it looks great and I only had to lift it 2" in the front. Worked out really well!

Came across this old thread researching rear spring/shock combinations. This may be obsolete info considering SAW no longer sells springs, but it’s good info for those looking at the used market. The SAW 1.5” rear spring is the exact same spring as the Icon 2” rear spring. I originally had the icons and wanted less lift, so I purchased the SAW 1.5” springs expecting a net loss of .5”. In reality, it provided the exact same lift. Perplexed, I pulled out my calipers and started measuring. They were both manufactured by eibach, had the exact same wire diameter, number of coils, and free length. By all measurable standards, they are identical.
