Many people were overlooking the fact that the GB closed. I receive no less than 5 PM's per day asking to get in on it, and it was even closed. So that was the only thing I could do to stop it. I even had to delete one from a few months ago for the same reason. I've receive numerous PM's about ordering new links even though this thread says I'm taking a break.

You're links are going out today as well.

Means you're in charge of securing the actual sway bar when completely disconnected. Some people let it flop around, some tie it up, and some only disconnect one side. It's your choice on how you run it.

So have there been any issues with letting it flop around? Just wondering why exactly you had to post that disclaimer? I do a lot of extremely remote camping, so breaking stuff needs to be kept to a minimum because it could be a life or death situation... Is there something I should be aware of?

Nothing that I'm aware has ever happened. It's just one of those cover your ass kind of things. The front on yours will never be completely disconnected so that's not an issue. In the rear with our sway bars being mounted to the axle rather the frame it is a bit different. If you disconnect both sides in the rear it'll flop around, and you'll hear it. If you leave one side connected the other will move the exact same way. You could run into interference going this route, but I know quite a few that run it that way issue free.

Thanks. I only have the front disconnects so I shouldn't have much of an issue.

Also, any tips for getting the pins in and out? Mine are extremely tight. Like can't remove or insert by hand.

You should be able to remove them by hand. If things aren't lining up try rotating the collar around 180*.

Thank you Mike! You were very helpful in deciding what to go with! Can't wait to get them on!

In case it's helpful to others, I went with the standard yellow zinc links all around, red bushings. I have a small lift (FJ swap with Toytec top out spacer, about 1.5" front, 0.5" rear). Since the fronts are longer, and I don't do heavy wheeling, I opted to go with the standards instead of disconnects.

Hmm, since I currently 4wheel with just one front link disconnected, I thought for sure that a design like the 5th gen disco's would work. Thanks though!

I got my front links from [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION] yesterday and installed them. Today I took them back off to get a bit more threads through the lock nut, so I decided to take a couple pictures.

I really like them.
