I probably didn't phrase my question correctly, but I have SWI jack that is wired to my steering wheel. However, today was about 45 degrees out and the buttons on the steering wheel weren't working for the first 10 mins. Is this a normal incident where cold weather renders the SWI jack useless until it warms up? I had my head unit system replaced, and I included a SWI jack to work with the new HU (Pioneer) almost a month ago. It started working after the car warmed up, but obviously this is an issue for me as I depend greatly on using the steering wheel controls when using the HU.It's just the matter of safety also. Thanks!
