Switch Pro 9100 on 2020

Has anyone installed a switchpro on a 2020, kinda lost on how the wiring should go.

Also does anyone happen to use a powertray, I also ran into some issues of it not fitting. I think this might have to do with the relay box.

Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Thanks! But I was already using it, the 2020s have an additional relay box which has moved the wiring from in the cabin to the hood. I cant even install the power tray, ive been in contact with them.

I was hoping someone found a solution to this.

While not a permanent solution, I just mounted the stech directly on top of the current fuse box lid. I really wish someone comes up with an answer as i'm not a fan of mounting it there. The good thing is the fuse box cover is only 30 bucks or so. Once I find the permanent solution i'll just buy a new one. I guess I could just tape over the two hole I made =p.

The only other solution i can think of is the mount the spod/stech relay box on the top left (where everyone mounts their ARB compressor) and just bit the bullet and run a long battery cable wire to there.

I purchased a powertray unbeknownst to me that it wouldnt fit. Hopefully Maverick comes up with a solution to this. He suggested to remove the bolt and tighten it down with the relay box supporting it from under.


You can see how tight of a space it is, there is no way of actually screwing it down.

Yep, the 20s are totally different under there. All the electrical has been rearchitected under the hood and in the cabin as well. Even the fuse locations and the actual circuits in the fuse boxes differ greatly from the previous years.

I'm trying to figure out where to pull power from for the switched and light wire in cab. I'm guessing i'll have to use a t-tap since I can't use the add a fuse. there is only one slot in the fuse box that isn't used and it's not switched. I was also using the guide that was referenced above but ran in to the differences in wiring and relay box being bigger on the 2020. I used the SDHQ mount for now and drilled new holes and mounted the circuit breaker and buss blocks on top of the engine bay fuse lid for now. I wanted to get the powertray and keep it clean but waiting on Magnuson to release the 2020 supercharger. I think the powertray will interfere with the reservoir for the SC.

I’m not sure if you found a fix for your problem running into mounting the Switch-Pros. But this is want I did when I install my arb/switch pro tray in my 2020 last year. I took the bracket for the relay box and cut off the tabs that mount to the fender side. I then mounted the relay box side ways instead and used the hole on the side of the bracket to mount in down. Hope this helps if you didn’t fix a way to mount it yet

Just did mine a couple weeks ago. Contact Derek at SD Offroad for the mount tray. [email protected]. Wiring is simple, left to right (or top to bottom in the pic) is switches 1-8 respectively. 1-4 hold 20amps, and 5-8 handle 2x17 amps. Just run the yellow and blue wires thru the firewall, and follow the guide from Trail4Runner that the previous poster linked ya to. Take your time, use thread lock. interior panel piece is from SDHQ if you want a better fit/finish.

How difficult was it to mount with the new tray?

The tray is easy since it uses pre-existing holes in the engine bay. The support brace on the opposite end mounts to a pre-existing hole in the wheel well. Its less difficult if you're not supercharged since there's not as much plumbing to work around. Actual install time for the tray took ~15min after doing a loose fit check, then re-installing the screws with lock-tite.

There's holes for the Terminal Block to go in place of the Fuse Block if wanted.

I just tapped one of the fuses in the driver's footwell fuse box. I forgot which one but I can take a look tomorrow

Did some research this morning

I started mapping the cabin fuse box, diagrams attached if this would help anyone else with a 2020+. Looking for a fuse to plug into for my switch pros 9100, plugging into the only open fuse slot is power not tied to the ignition.

Any help would be appreciated.

Switch Pros 8 button controller (uses the blue wire for power) to an Add'a'fuse

Option #1 KDSS, because I don't have KDSS even though I have a fuse for it.

Option #2 IGN No 2 or 3?

Switch Pros automatic dimmer control (White Wire)
Use an Add'a'fuse to the TAIL fuse

Not from any of the install videos I have watched, but most of them skip this step or are installing on an 2018 or older. I will start checking my service manual tonight, good thought.
