Does anyone know if the party mode switch out of a new 4runner will fit in a empty spot on the console of a 05 sr5?

I don't know. Best bet is to go to your local Toyota dealer and ask to look at a new 4runner and if it looks the same and has the same dimensions the it SHOULD fit. Just out of curiousity tho, what do you plan on using it for?

I don't think it'll fit. IIRC, they are shorter and wider than the blank spaces.

The switch won't fit, its different dimensions.

BTW what do you want it for? The 4th Gen isn't wired for that feature..

I just installed the pioneer appradio and it needs to see ground twice to think the parking brake is set. I figured a switch would be easiest way about it. If it would fit I would use it.

Why not just permanently ground both leads?

That would be great if It worked like that but it doesn't it has to turn on unground then get grounded twice.
