Switching from 03 to 06 headlights and had a question about the wiring

I have looked for a while but can't find the answer i was looking for. I am switching to the 06 headlights and was curious what you guys have done about wiring the turn signals in the headlights to the the turn signals in the bumper. I know i would need to get a plug and bulb for the turn signal in the lights and then tie them into the turn signals in the bumper but can't find a part number for that plug. Anybody have any info or input on this? Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to figure out the same. My plan is just order the wire and plug from Toyota if possible

Looks like part # 81125-35440 is the harness with the 2006+ marker and turn signal socket on it. Looks about $23 each side.

Yep, just finished up with the painting a little while ago. I will clear and polish the filler pieces tomorrow. It is really easy and if you take your time to do it right they will turn out fine. I did the same thing with my door handles and trim pieces. Here is a thread on those.

I see, I just ordered mine from Toyota and they are already painted white. Came out to be like $75 shipped to me for both

I was able to find plugs at my local pepboys to hold the turn signal bulb that fit right into the 4runner lights, then just spliced the wires together from the factory turn signal wiring. I believe it was made for a 2006 F150 or something. Lost the box though, so not 100% sure. I think I paid about $6 each, and they were out with the rest of the turn signal bulbs.

Sam, you might want to try Touch Up Paint and Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup or Automotive Touch Up Paint from PaintScratch - Order Pro Grade Paint. I have never used them but heard some people have had good luck with them

I've been researching this swap and pretty much any of the stores that sell OEM will give you the parts numbers and diagrams needed to get everything right the first time. When its all said and done its just pricey as a mofo as in the $500-$600 range. This makes me rethink it and just go with a DOT/SAE approved pair of bumper lights by either Rigid or PIAA.

im going to buy a can or two for the filler plates and see how well they match. May end up shooting the fenders too just to get them somewhat matching.

I saw a Cherokee today that had some aftermarket fender flares on it. They were matte black and they didn't look bad next to the gold paint. you could PD the new fenders black or gray to tone them down until you get them painted.
