Funny how Captsolo berates Amsoil as a multi level marketing scheme, yet mentions Marlin Marine in Nassau. A quick look on their website and you will see that they seem to be confident in Amsoil.

Toyota requires a 5w30 API rating of SL (this is found directly in the owners manual on page 360)
Amsoil signature series has an API rating of SN which supersedes SL...
Here is a quote to inform you on API ratings and supersessions...
"The current and previous API Service Categories are summarized in convenient charts. Vehicle owners should refer to their owner's manuals before consulting these charts. Oils may have more than one performance level. For automotive gasoline engines, the latest engine oil service category includes the performance properties of each earlier category. If an automotive owner's manual calls for an API SN oil, an API SP oil will provide full protection. "

With some deference to Kilmer, in the video Captsolo keeps posting Kilmer pretty much hints that the leak thing probably isnt a concern and Kilmer uses mostly synthetic.

My guess is that Captsolo is a kid that lives in the Bahamas, in his parents house, who may or may not own a boat. The name calling and threats of violence are congruent with a slighted teenager or an individual with emotional/mental issues. Simple as that.

Thought about pulling 50,000 cash and getting a new one, but WTFF?
Went back to Toyota recommended 0W 30 conventional and one drip a month.
2005 15 year old 4runner doesn't burn a drop of oil.
Saves money and time so I can go fishing - solo!
Below Twins - caught on my 42 foot Performance with three new F225 Yamaha (80 pound leader and 50# line / 5 foot standup rod #9 circle hook - so they don't throw the hook and swim away)
These two YFT are babies. They get to over 300 pounds in open Atlantic.
I've landed over 300 YFT like these - fishing solo on my 42 Performance (with three F225 new Yamahas). The boat's builder from Pompano died two weeks ago.
