No, you were not. It's one thing to mist the interior with a spray bottle, another to carefully pour water using a low setting on your garden hose, and another to USE A MACHINE TO FORCE WATER INTO THE CAR.
Jesus christ, this is supposed to be a semi-luxury SUV and has tons of electronics onboard. If you wanted something you can flood and rinse out you should have gotten a Jeep or an old beater... something that has no sensor, switches, modules, relays, etc, all over the cabin.

I've also heard the if you microwave your iphone for 10 seconds it fully charges the battery. Common sense is not so common, a simple mistake is fine but I'm sure Toyota put weatherstriping on the 4runner to keep the weather out. Leaving your windows down by mistake and frying everything in a freak rainstorm, that sucks I feel bad for you. Opening your door and purposefully blasting water inside, I cant really feel bad at that point.
btw, snow is slippery, everyone will get stuck with enough of it.

Hmm, power washed the interior. I worked in pro detail shop, and never heard of that.
And I dealt with cars with all kinds of undesireable spillage, particularly old milk...would I have liked to power wash those interiors, YES. Better yet, probably would have junked the cars, it was so bad.

So, you hate your vehicle, because you thought it would be a good idea to hose out the interior, didn't consider the ECU or the wiring, and it's the truck's fault? Did you even disconnect the battery before washing the vehicle out? Sure doesn't sound like it...

I did! Except, Right before I washed all the salt I actually upgraded my ECU to Windows 8.1 Then, I puked and took a hose to my car.

I had a rental car last year and it had mold under the cargo area (they said it had been flooded) and smelled horrid :barf:

OOH it does. Iphone got wet this past spring break and into a bag it went. no volume, ringer kept going into headphone mode would not come out of it. and this was on a 5S!
