T4R runs smoother in warmer weather, am I smoking crack?

I think you get more mpg because when its cold you usually have the heater and vents going which will burn the gas a little quicker. But when itw warmer out you usually have the windows open. Just my thought...because I noticed this also.

Believe it or not I believe you burn more gas with the windows open than with the A/C or heat on full blast. When you have the windows open it creates more wind drag thus making the vehicle less fuel efficient.

That does make sense... I will have to remember to open up the back window when I have the windows down all they way. I only open mine up a crack as I have the Autoshade Ventvisors that drastically cut down on the noise so I can only assume they prevent most drag. I don't usually have my windows down all the way unless I am just driving around town. I never drive on the highway with them down.

Yeah, it probably doesn't make a difference in stop and go city traffic but it definitely does in highway driving.
