Small update. I have been kinda slacking on my post. But thanks to the guys at Toytec Lifts i got a replacement Bilstein 5125.



....and of course nothing is ever easy....


The bolt for the lower shock mount broke off....so i had to run around trying to find a nut and bolt store open!! NOT FUN in a small town....


I finally got it in...after a fight but the view was worth it.....




He loves hanging his head out the window....

Yeah...he had it out in NO time. But being able to put it on a lift and have that bolt eye level to him made the difference. He backed it out with a small flat head and a hammer. i got new plugs for it tonight. Going to put them on in the morning. I hope that fixes it. So far i have changed...PVC valve, plugs (ONCE ALREADY) and wires, knock sensor, oil, starter, and a fuel pump regulator. pretty close to in that order...

I know this has drove me crazy! Just dont see how all that was caused by what lil bit of water i had it in, I know it has definately made me think about a snorkel, but i have bigger things to get before then...so i am just avoiding water.

a few things to come....

I just placed an order for some HIDs....

DDM HID Kit, 35W, H4 High / Low, 6000K (Kit / Package)

I also got some new plugs NGK, Mobil 10w 30 High Mileage and a boushe filter. I also got 2 of the belts that i havent replaced yet....due to me being lazy. I also started picking up Royal Purple Gear oil....planning on flushing the diffs and putting in the fuel synthetic Royal Purple in front and rear diffs along with transfer case. I also ran seamfoam through the brake booster and put some in my oil and gas tank earlier today....Sooo tomorrow i can get start on everything else. I also plan on picking up another CV that way i can go ahead and replace both CVs with some FRESH ones...both boots on the CVs i am currently running are held on with zip ties...its time to fix that too....:doh:

Sooo, i got some HIDs. They are from DDM Tuning, they are 35watt/6000k. They are brighter than the Silverstars i had thats for sure. However, the light is kinda scattered....kinda thinkin it is the headlight housing. They are brand new from Eagle Eye headlight housings.



They took forever to get to KY, guess thats what i get for ordering them 2 days before the 4th of July...and the fact they came from China!!



All in all they look halfway decent. I am happy with it....but i know i will be looking into a retro fit...

I believe you were on Ohler Rd aka 830 about 6ish tonight. Looks awesome coming towards me bro. We need to have a little offroad meet if I ever get my lift installed.
