Taco TRD grill mod

I hope to do a more thorough follow up of my process but wanted to share my grill mod for my 2011 Limited. I wanted something more prominent and a bit different. I really liked the beefyness of the Tacoma aftermarket grill so I bought a Chinese replica off eBay and started trimming!

Nice. I was just about to pull the trigger on the TRD grill but now you have me thinking...

I like it - different. I wish the Toyota lettering was a bit lower and more centered vertically the way it sits now it seems the grill is mounted higher than it should be.

Thanks! Yeah, I retained the OEM honeycomb grill because I wanted to match the lower billet. This left a huge hole where the original emblem and bar where so I had to move this TRD bar up higher to cover everything. Thinking about getting an aftermarket mesh grill and recenter everything.

Actually looked for the link but it was the last one sold and link is now lost. I just eBay'd a cheaper Tacoma TRD grill where the seller was clearly China. It was $100 CAD + $40 shipping.
