Tacoma TRD vs. FJ Suspesion

I searched around but could not find a solid answer on this.

I am currently running Fj shocks and springs with daystar spacers.

I was able to score shocks and springs off a TRD offroad tacoma (bilsteins) pretty cheap the other day.

I will for sure be putting the shocks on, but are there any advantages to the tacoma springs over the fj springs?

Will I see any difference in height/performance or are they basically the same?

i know that the tacoma coils add an inch over stock if that helps.

So you currently have about 4 to 4.5" total lift and you want more?

Consider this before you want.

Higher = more money. UCA, camber issues, axle angles it's a Pandora's box.

That is where I am at. I too have a very similar setup like yours. Except I did body lift to get more height.

I don't necessarily want more lift. I just need to know what I can expect if I swap the FJ springs to the Tacoma springs.

I'm pretty sure the taco springs and the fj springs are the same. Not 100% sure, but with the lift kits and suspension components being the same..
