the 4runner emblem is simply glued in.
i used a heat gun on the low setting and removed them one piece at a time. took all of 5 minutes.
the thing thats actually going to take work is removing the glue residue left after removing the 4runner emblem.

Every now and again a thread pops up that makes me wonder "why would they do that?" Getting rid of the Toyota emblem and the "4Runner" sign seem to fall in that category. Is there an underlying, unstated reason that some folks have for getting rid of the advertising? Just wondering . . . .

are you just debadging or plan on painting them black and putting them back on?
