Tailgate window problems.

I am the new owner of a 2000 4Runner Limited. I was lucky enough to come across this truck near where I live. It is immaculate and everything works perfectly except the CD player and the tailgate window.

The tailgate window rolls up and down, but when you roll it down it comes off the tracks or something and you have to guide it back in to place by hand while someone else works the switch.

Is this a common problem with these trucks?
Is there a part that commonly breaks in there?

It sounds like part of the track is broken but you'll probably have to take it apart to see what needs to be replaced.

Or could be as simple as some bolts or nuts that have vibrated loose.

Ok, so there isn't like one common problem with that rear window.

I was hoping there might be a known issue before digging into it. Oh well. First project on the new truck.
