take off the trim/plastic center console?

Does anyone know how to take the trim and or olastic part on the center console and shifter? I want to plastidip it. I searched and only found older gen write ups

Thanks for the quick reply but that's fir the 2014, the layout is a little bit different ie selector switch for 4h4l instead of shifter and such. Unless I missed it ??

The only difference should be under your 4x4 Knob there will be a wiring harness you have to undo but on the plus side you don't have to unscrew the mechanical transfer case knob

Great photos. I see you had a hand in this Antman. The lettered finger nails in the previous post on LEDs in the door handles were especially cool.

I think it might have been a tad easier with the wheels chocked and the main shifter in neutral. YMMV

LOL- My console has been apart so many times it follows voice commands.

In fact, I'm working on something new in that area this week............. . . . .

I had asked this in another thread but never got answer. How can I remove the silver trim pieces from the steering wheel to paint those pieces? Thanks
