An update...

Wondering how your T4R is doing, since that milkshake? (it was a milkshake, right?) Is it still up and running? How goes it for you?

Wow. WOW. I really haven't been here in AWHILE. Lets see, since the last time I was here I moved, started working. I have to wake up at 4:45 am for work, it is really kicking my ass. What have I done to the 4Runner? Changed the fluid. What am I going to do? Put a Koyo radiator in, get rid of tranny cooler, put lift on, get bigger tires. Run tranny till it sh!ts the bed. Then go to PBR house (if he'll still have me) and put a new one in.

Yes, it kicks my ass. I thought that all summer I would be babying the 4Runner. However, when I come home by 8 am I am whipped.

I hear bath salts will give me the needed energy.

If it gives you any comfort, I start work @ 6AM and have 10 1/2 hour days...

So did you have the extra tranny cooler installed when you got the PM?

Ok, I need to decide. Rebuild tranny (pay someone to do it) or buy used? How much should either one cost? I am in NE PA.

If you can mount it up yourself id go for a used one. Other then the milk shake there almost bulletproof so find a low mileage(100k) and go with it. I've never heard of a cheap rebuild.
