ya most ricers have 55w kits in stock housing and 8000k+ colors... I only know of a few ricers that have 35w kits.

I'm all bout functionality/clean work. I hate ricers just as much as the next guy. I'm glad someone spoke their mind about the 10K's I was planning on, made me think harder about it and change my mind back to 6K. Picks coming after install.

Main reason I chose oem projectors/bulbs, was aesthetics. I prefer the "look" only oem projectors/bulbs can produce. IMO, PnP HID Kits look just that...plug-n-play. Too aftermarket for my taste. :bigok:

Got my kit in last night. 10 min install ran into a snag, I didn't know the low beams were reverse polarity. Simple fix. BTW I didn't get flashed by anyone on the way to work which is a 10mi trip down a straight road, 10pm, moderate traffic. I love em!

Holy crap that is a huge difference.

For reference, what bulbs, color, etc did you get?

I am going to order the H4 Hi/Lo, 6000k, 35 watts.

Same 35w 6000k hi/low. (highs r not HID)

Jon did u get the DDM Tuning kit? bc mine are HIDs for both low and high beams... i only have a single bulb that moves when the hi beam switch is activated.

yeah i'm kinda p-o'd now. I wish I would have gone with the DDM kit. I think I'll be getting one and sell or keep this crap kit. I'll go 55w if I get the DDM though. I never really use my brights except on trips back home to GA. Those are the hilly roads that made me hate my projectors. Thanks

naw dude i would definitely not get the 55w kit. i wanted that originally too but my 35w kit is already really bright and like i havent been flashed but it is super bright so ull def get tickets for a 55w kit. Wat i have suggested to all is to get the DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor 35w hi/lo kit and colors 5000k or 6000k is prob best. I got the 5000k and im pretty happy bc i wanted the 6000k originally but these are great bc they are white with blue in them but not too much.

Nice rig! Lights look good. I have to go at least 5mi from my house to take any good pics to avoid other lights, matter of fact, I'm gonna go do that right now! Back in a bit boys.
