i still find american cars to be overpriced POS especially when you try to sell it after a few years of use. i'm driving a new suburban now while my 4r is getting its sport hood installed. good looking on the outside, but everything else... just not up to toyota standards.
their interiors are still sh!t new GC included. the materials they use, the colors of the lighting remains off target. plus, it's more highlander than 4runner with its
cush 4-wheel independent suspension. let's also stick to the facts. the new GC's v6 feels laborious and much more so than the 2010 4r's v6 (and they get pretty much the same mpg ratings; you make it sound as if the GC is prius efficient in comparison). even with the v8 it doesn't feel nearly as sprightly nor lexus smooth as the 4th gen's.
with that said, i do not question the new model's reliability (but it still won't be as good as toyota's).
cliff notes: i'd much rather have the 2010 toyota than the new gc
