Test drove a runner today

Was a base sr5, all they had in stock at dealership ... Said they have been selling fast. I liked it a lot. The windows were high up and kind of small, reminded me of a h3. The braking and steering was pretty sensitive but that's easy to get used to. I wish they had a nicer one so I could have played with the nav and other options! Pretty impressive ride though.

Not readily chief

Talk to a few dealers (ask them about dealer trades), there is a guy on here from AR with one. Your in the GST (gulf states toyota) region, which means they can pull from some other states - including TX.

If you want my guy's name and number here in OKC he'll do all the negotiations online with you and give you a good legit price. PM me if you want it, he'd have to order it from another dealer (dealer trade). Then you would just work it out with him and he'll hook you up - one trip into Indian Lands and your set.

Just let me know, chief.

My local dealer found a silver trail but when he called about it, it was already sold. They said they could find me one no problem but it might take awhile and not in my first color choice. I'm not really worried though because I'm going to oregon in a few months and they are easier to get there.

All damn 4Runners are hard to find. I wanted a blue, limited with 3rd row, the dealer tried to get one from other dealers but had no luck. I just ordered one yesterday.

I traveled 1500+ miles to get exactly the one I wanted...You have to ask yourself, how bad do I want what I want. "Where there's a will there's a way."

Its funny, i felt that same way with the windows but after driving it for a week it never felt that way again.....now I cant even understand why the windows gave me that impression....they are actually very good size. Good luck with your hunt.....dont forget to buy a TE!

Nah don't want an sr5. I want a Trail RIG. And they don't sell them in AR.

If you are near Pine Bluff, AR then call their Toyota Dealership and ask for a guy named Shane. I live in TN but bought mine through that dealership because they got me exactly what I wanted at a really good price. I think I paid something like $500 over the dealer price.

He ended up rerouting my rig from the dock on the gulf coast. I got mine within 4-5 days from ordering it but I think I got lucky because there was a shipment heading to the dock that had my exact specifications.

Good luck in your search. If you like the TE you may want to check out the LE. Now THAT is one nice ride!!!

I work for Lander's in Little Rock. Call me at 501-568-5800 and ask for Bart Burgess. My inventory manager is the best around. We sold 323 new last month and have plenty of influence if there is one in our region.

I'll vouch for him, asked him for some pictures and he sent them fast. Good sales guy.
