Hello all. I have been roaming and reading these forums and recently posting a couple things. Anyways I guess it's time to Introduce myself. The name's Geoff in case you couldn't tell and I'm from Southern California.
My rig is a 1997 Limited 4x4. I picked it up a out a year and a half ago from a local guy. He is a big JDM car guy so he added a few things from the Toyota Surf such as the field monitor, headlights, corner lights, the factory Surf blinkers on the fenders. He also swapped the headlights with a set of OEM Lexus HID's. It also has the upgraded '99 center console. It also had the Fox fab tech coil overs and Bilstien 5100 rear shocks along with taller rear coils. Under the hood is the 5vz-fe with the gen 1 supercharger and a K&N intake (which is getting changed out soon) as the factory intake makes more power with the supercharger.
Since I've had it I have added the 285/75R16 BFG KM2's, Shrockworks front bumper with the light bar and a new used engine as the old one was giving me tons of problems and costing me a ton of money.
Yes I am going to move the oil filter when I get a chance since it's pretty exposed there.

Anyways here's some pictures!

I am also currently in the build of my first attempt at a Satochi grill. Here's a few pics of the progress. The TOYOTA emblem is an OEM Landcruiser front emblem. I should have it all wrapped up and installed by this weekend!

Excellent continuation on a nice start! Your grille looks like it's going to be good. I see you've already got the super mega diff drop to combat that cv angle...wonder if that's the po's attempt to deal with boot rub?

I'm also not sure if the oil filter's current location is hilarious or making me jealous.... :D Can it be both?

Thanks guys. The diff drop spacers are 1". It helps the CV's out but kills the boots still. I need to find the Porsche boots to swap over. The next round of upgrades is going to hopefully take place within the next 3 weeks or so consisting of 2.5" King coil overs up front paired with Camburg uniball upper arms and 2.5" King rears with the compression adjustment knobs.

Thanks guys. The diff drop spacers are from All-pro off-road and are 1" I believe. I added them shortly after I bought the 4Runner. Blew up 2 axles in a week! They help with the CV angles but the boots still aren't happy. I need to look into the Porsche boot upgrade.
My next round of upgrades will hopefully take place in about three weeks consisting of 2.5" King coil overs up front paired with the Camburg upper arms and 2.5" King rear shocks with the side mounted reservoir that has the compression adjustment knobs.

Well here's the end result of my Satochi grill build. Just waiting for the new mounting clips to arrive so I can install it. The Toyota emblem ended up having a cool floating effect as it sits about 3/16" off of the mesh.

Nice looking rig. Love those FJ wheels.
Guess I'll have to be "That other guy Geoff" since I share the Toys R Us giraffe name too.

The grille clips arrived today and I promptly installed my grille! I am very pleased how it turned out

And tomorrow I will be installing new spark plugs that will hopefully stop me from getting a check engine light for a cylinder 1 misfire!

That grill looks awesome. Never been a fan of the grill mod but i like that.

I ran factory plugs for about a week after I supercharged mine. Then I installed the IK22s and it made a noticeable difference in idle and power delivery.

Love the stance of your T4R and that Shrockworks bumper looks awesome.

Are you running wheel spacers?

Great build so far.

Do you have a body lift on that? Its hard to tell if you do or don't. Other than that i'm lovin the way the rig looks. Very Nice!
