Those shark fins are replaceable with a number of smaller ones that will plug in like the ones off the carolla I think. Someone else did it.

I remember seeing that...I thought the trim approach would work quicker. I actually had an extra clear plastic heat shield from my welding helmet that I cut to size ans siliconed down.

Hmm didn't think of that. Is that the bracket for your lights? I was looking at the 10A version which is slightly bigger but still looks like it might fit there.

I had it mounted on top of the air cleaner box, and bought the Noco plug for the one side. I used 4 screws and some black silicone.

Yes it's just a piece of 1/8" x 2" flat stock aluminum, it fits great in my year, uses the holes that hold the grill to the lower valence. There is a ton of room there.

I think John's mounting location is good...but the 10 amp is a bulky piece. I would consider using an 1/8" aluminum plate under it, predrill it, then put it in his location if it fits.

I have been trying to figure out the best way to do this. My twenty first thought was to run this straight to a blue sea fuse box posi supply terminal in the rear of the truck and just have a single 4-6awg fused run to the battery. That would work wouldn't it? I mean there shouldn't really be a need to run two lines, a dedicated line for each, is there? or am I missing something. The power is the power regardless of the direction it shouldn't care. Right?

I'm pretty sure I understand what you mean, (although a schematic might help) and that's pretty much what I did. The panel/controller runs into a separate slot at the 12 circuit Blue Sea box (located behind the "jack" door), that ultimately runs back the battery with a #6. I use it primarily to keep the battery happy during the day when the fridge is running, which it has been since April.

You didn't waste anytime adding some of your special touches to it everything looks awesome. The rack came out great also!

I might try to make it down to the Cove if I can swing it, I would love to bring the trailer down I've barely gotten to use it this summer.
