im thinking about building my own and sourcing parts, water meth kit that is.
Id like to make it look really clean and nice, not like something used with hardware store parts.

Do I decided to drill and tap my old one. Let's see how it works.
Everything went super smooth on it and everything is strong.
I would probably run a williams washer or a flange bolt on that.

Does anyone at altitude run a 2.1" pulley?
I am hardly using the 7th injector based on my fuel mapping even with a 2.2" pulley and so the 2.1" has crossed my mind.
Thoughts?

Just received my "used" SC :naughty:
I have plans on installing this weekend along with my son. I am hoping all goes well. I have not purchased the URD 7th injector system yet, have to save some $$$. The SC came with nothing, I had to purchase ALL the hardware and such required. I was able to get everything!

Where were you able to get "All" the hardware from? Wondering if you found a shop that's selling these items or did you find them at a junkyard or ??

SCRunner12...thank you kindly Sir for the offer; however, I'm unsure what I will need if anything. I purchased a slightly used S/C...just unsure if I was given all the parts needed to install it. When I saw Sculsz post that he was able to find everything...I thought I'd be proactive to see if there was a shop that sold all the parts needed. I've read several post that have stated some of these parts are extremely hard to come by.
So just trying to be proactive!! But...if you don't mind, when I do do my install...and if I unfortunately find I'm missing a part or two, would you mind if I call upon you for help?? I would truly appreciate it...Thanks!!

Yeah I'll send you a PM with my number. I've installed both versions of the sc and both tensioners, so I've seen it all for the most part. What gen/tensioner do you have?

Hello Sir,
I have the 4th gen S/C (the black one)! It's got a little less then 8,000 miles on it. The tensioner I believe is a TRD?? I'll send you a picture of it to make sure. But I know for sure I bought a new pulley for it thru UDR!

So is it confirmed that the manifold spacer is not needed on the first gen supercharger? "On a 1st gen sc you do not need the manifold spacer... Their is not space. The bracket just attaches to the sc" lhsoulrebel said that and I don't mean to be rude and act like I don't trust him but I would like to hear other opinions because I don't want to be stranded without the part during the install I want to have all my i's dotted before the install.
Also if I go to a local Toyota dealer will they be able to get me the parts that are not hard to find? Like the vacuum lines and a few of the bolts and washers.
