I think I should contribute something to this thread. A few days ago my co-work pulled a fuel pump from a 5vz T-100. I happen to have a 5.7 tundra fuel pump laying around and wanted to compare the 2. Well they are identical in size and shape. There are 5.7 fuel pumps around from those that have done the trd/magnuson supercharger kit.
Left is 5vz pump, Right is 3ur pump

5.7 pump on the right. Look at the terminals on the 5.7 They are much larger therefore more amps!
Why is this exciting? Well this might be a cheaper solution than buying a walbro 190. Going off autozone oem replacement fuel pump specs have a minimum flow of 49 gph and max of 57 gph. This converts to 185 lph min and 215 lph max. When I mean cheaper I mean that you can buy one from people that have supercharged there 5.7 Not a new one, which would cost the same as a new walbro or more.
So doesn't that fit in with the flow rate of a walbro 190?

That's a kit for a narrow band engine. 99 was the last year of the narrow band o2 sensors. You need a wideband 7TH injector kit.

If you've got a 5vz you're no longer on his radar.
Before he started offering kits for the 2nd gen Tacomas and 4th gen 4Runners Gadget was THE MAN for us 5vz folks. However, now that those people are in the market for items that are 5x the price of our items, we're at the bottom of the list.
I've called maybe 5 times in the past 3 years. Never a call back.
When I ordered my 7th injector kit I paid for 2 day shipping. The next day I received an e-mail that a label was printed. The was the last update I got for more than a week, when it was actually shipped. With 2 day shipping.
I'll do everything I can to never deal with him/URD again.

Thanks for sharing. I am glad I am not the only one thats had issues. It felt like I was a "'burden" to him.
If the kits come back in stock I will buy it, only because I have no other choice.

you absolutely have a choice. Email Gadget and ask for a refund. If he says no then call your Credit Card company and tell them that you ordered an out of stock item that has no stock date and that you would like to dispute the charge. Give Gadget a chance but if he doesn't respond just go through your Credit card company. Then you have plenty of options. :cowboy:

Lcengineering sells the 7th injector kit. Maybe they have some in stock.

He refunded my money promptly, I told him I wanted to order when they would have inventory in stock or had a date. He wouldn't tell me if it was going to be two weeks or two months. That's when he hung up on me, twice. He then blocked my number from calling his company at all. I just didn't want over $800 siting in some else's bank account and not having any idea when I would get my product. If a company files bankruptcy while waiting for inventory, then the consumer looses everything. He had zero idea of when they would get more.
What I meant by having no choice, is purely my fault. I want a 7th injector kit. It's simple, and you get it set and forget it. It was what TRD approved of, so it's good enough for me.

So now that we are into week seven, they finally got back to me and said I could return in. Sure, I said, so I mailed it to the address they provided. A week goes by. I ask about the status, then ask again, and again. They get back to me saying they cannot find the package and lost it. Seriously.
They finally did something right, sent me a new unit. Should arrive next week.
9 weeks ago I ordered a control unit. Next week I'll finally be able to use it. Looks like I'm not the only one with problems working with companies.

Funny thing is, they "lost my package" yet it arrived in the same box I shipped it to them in - even still has my old shipping label on it? Hmm... yeah. Don't order from Snow Performance.

I think I have everything finally! I was going to install the charger tomorrow, but I found that the check valve GM# 14047619 is incorrect for my 04 Taco. The check valve appears to be a 1/4inch fittings where I would need a 3/8" fitting (i think.. haven't measured) Anybody know if oreilly's would have it? And yes I know where the IACV is. The hose is coming out of my IACV and then "Y"s into the intake manifold.

You may not need it. The instructions said my 02 runner didn't need it. Installed mine yesterday, Took 3 hours

At about 1/3-1/2 throttle the AFR's sit between 12.5 and 13.
At 1/2-WOT the AFR's sit between 13 and 14 or so.
I have a 225 ML/Min nozzle, that equals 3.5 gallons/hour if you guys are more familiar with that calculation.

I think I am going to run some type of meth injection, but use the AEM piggy back to control when I get it.

Yeah, I thought about it but I am concerned about wiring it up since it won't pass smog for me. The controller with snow performance is simple enough and has no wiring to do beyond a 12v source, ground and pump wire. I still might do it down the road though, since it does have nice features. But $370+$150 harness wasn't in the picture for now.

You takes about your part throttle pulls and AFR numbers. Any full throttle? Also with more use, how often do you have to refill it?
I'm debating yanking this 7th and going another route.
Edit: I just say your 1/2-full is 13-14. Sounds like you need a larger nozzle for more flow. Perfect I hear is 11.5
