Does this look possibly correct?
I replaced my radiator (new AZ011) for the first time and attempted to flush the system per Tim & Sean's video.
I hadn't thought to do this when I hired someone to help me with the TB/TS/WP/VCG a couple weeks ago. We refilled with Prestone at the time so there was at least a recent drain/fill.
No way to get an accurate temp reading on my '96 5VZ-FE so I ran it 10-15 minutes between flushes, working the throttle to get it up to temp. Front and rear temp controls were set to hot. Funnel level didn't drop much but bubbles stopped and I could see a color change in what was in the funnel.
Each cycle took me an hour and twenty minutes. Had I known that I would've started before 5:30pm.
I bought her in '12 with 202k miles and have put on 45k since. I have no idea when the PO had the radiator changed or flushed.
Anyway, I'm wondering if these colors look correct or if I was impatient and didn't get a proper flush. I was expecting to see much darker.
You did a pretty thorough job. color looks good.

Great, thank you. Like I said, I was expecting it to be darker and was afraid I may not have flushed it all.

You can fit 285/75-16's with a 1" body lift and the slightly taller '99 "highlander" springs. My rig has been this way for years. You will need to flatten the pinch weld at the rear of the front wheelwell with a BFH.
You will have major clearance issues with 285's and the '01 springs.

You can get a surprising amount of wheeling done at this size even though they are approximately 31.5/32" tires depending on MFG, and will not get you any points in the mall parking lot. 285s are basically 33s.
that looks precisely like my lineup of jugs. darkest, dark, not-so-dark, lighter, lighter still, clearish, clear
i couldn't find anywhere willing to take the coolant, and couldn't even find whether it is or isn't considered hazardous waste in my state, so i evaporated out the water in pans, and kept concentrating it so that it was mostly just three gallons of concentrated coolant. i then suspended that in kitty litter and dry soil and threw it in the trash over a period of weeks. ridiculous.

definitely surprised me too. i called several places in our immediate area, looked at the state hazardous waste disposal info and so on, called the landfill (which hosts an annual hazardous waste dropoff), and no one had clear guidance, and the chain auto shops didn't want it. it was just weird.

Maybe try Toyota Part Number 7544216530 ? It's not the same year/model but it might work.
The PN you listed doesn't yield any results for me either. In fact, the 1998 4Runner emblem diagram doesn't even show a "Toyota" name plate (see screenshot).

I loaded up all those jugs along with 12 quarts of used oil and took it all to the household hazardous waste dropoff a few miles from the house. Guy made me roll up my window before he'd talk to me but he took everything right out of the back of the Runner, including the old radiator and the cardboard box it came in. And it was free.
Yet another tire question, hated to start a whole new thread but looking for some opinions and to see if I figured the size correctly.
I have a 2000 Limited, picked it up with 265/75/16 garbage tires that are loud and bumpy as hell. It's not so much a daily driver (fly for work out of town mainly) so normal errands in town and then camping/exploring/kayaking will be its main use. Figured an All-Terrain tire would be best for now, I plan to add some lift down the road but that's gonna be a bit, will then move this wheel/tire combo to a 93 yoda pickup.
It appears to have a bit of a spacer for leveling added as well as some wheel spacers. I picked up some used TRD PRO rims in grey (17x7 4.5 backspace Offset 4 - specs from previous owner)
The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's seem to be a favorite but I have always been a fan of Yokohama tires for sport cars so I've been looking at the GEOLANDAR X-AT's as well...no idea if they are any good though.
So finally the questions lol!! Does anybody have any experience with the Geolandar X-AT's? Lots of rain here so need to perform well wet and plan to see some snow as well. Going up to 17x7 was thinking 265/70/17 would be about the same size. Not sure if I can go any larger without having issues, current setup does not rub.
Any advice on tires and sizes would be appreciated, and here are some pointless pics!

that's great. elsewhere in colorado there's proper / awesome support for hazardous-waste disposal; where we are now, if it's not oil or lead, support is scant if at all. crazy...

Yokohama geolanders are great tire. I've had G015 and they are great tire. The mts are all so good so the xat might be a good option.
