I've reached out to a few people I know for some pricing, but I am debating if I want to try it myself. I have wrapped a lot of smaller pieces on various cars, so I am somewhat familiar with wrapping, but never an entire car. I know it is a ton of work, but I enjoy the occasional challenge.

Took advantage of some deals on new goodies this black friday. Now it is just a waiting game, ugh hate long lead times lol. Should all be worth it in the end, but it'll be a decent makeover and I am super excited for the changes coming!

Got my TRD Pro grille in the other day, finally had a chance to put it on!

Before:

Opted for the smoked amber raptor lights, much better than the ones I had on before! Really happy with these.

Lights off, final result:

Snagged a set of 295/70 KM3's, wheels are getting picked up next week! Still waiting on a few more things

Late update, but here they are! Thanks to our friends at Black Rhino, picked these up and could not be happier with the way it looks! 17x8.5 -22

Just driveway shots for now, have to find the time to get out and get some proper photos! Had to do BMC and trim the front bumper + fender liner a slight bit to get them to fit without rubbing. Still waiting on a lot more goodies, should be shipping sometime soon.

It rubbed. Cut the lower portion of the inner fender liner as well as a small sliver off the front bumper. It is just a temporary solution for now, waiting on my front bumper which should be here soon!

Partnered with a fridge company, they sent out a smaller 21qt model. Awaiting the larger one which should be here later this week! Just in time for our next road trip and will be able to test them out.

Well today was a good day! The final piece to the puzzle, and one of the last parts for a bit. Time to spend money in other hobbies :nod: Now it is off to powdercoating and then hopefully have it on sometime next week. Any suggestions for finish on the color? Satin black? Gloss or not? Don't know what to go with :/

Bumper is back from powdercoating, so today was the day we tackled it!

Rough line up:

Initial very conservative cut, wanted to see how the cutting wheel cut the bumper before getting close to what needed to be cut. Used a angle grinder with a 5 inch cutting wheel. Compared to a dremel this was a larger cutting wheel obviously so the cuts were straighter and smoother. I even used to top of the cutting wheel as a sander and it made quick work of the bumper to shave down some high points.

Bumper on, then took it off to trim more, put it back on and here we are.

At this point my friend had to leave so I'm solo. Instead of taking the bumper on and off to line it up, I had just enough room to take the upper stock bumper piece of. Also painted the body that now is exposed with some black paint.

I was able to fairly easily take off and put back on multiple times to trim it to its final shape.

Here is the final result with everything back together! Managed to smooth out the cuts and get it fairly even. If I notice any more issues I can easily remove the upper portion and trim to fit. Just needs a few more finishing touches but overall I am so stoked, been looking forward to this install for months!

Lastly, this is where I decided to mount my trigger plus controller. It actually fits quite nice with the contours of the panel, it keeps it out of the way and isn't too bad of a reach.

How are you liking the trigger controller? I've been thinking of getting a 6-shooter, but the 5 amp limit on 2 switches has me a little worried. There doesn't seem to be much love for the triggers around here, everyone goes with homemade, switch pros or Spod. But at half the price and no wires needed... hard to argue with it!

Also would the switch panel fit in the little center cubby at the bottom of the console?

I am super happy with it. It definitely is a budget friendly setup when compared to switch pros. Take my opinion how you will, as I have never used a spod or switch pro, but for what it is, it performs exactly how I needed it. I was able to take out a bunch of wiring although I do wish I opted for the 6 shooter. Might take this out and put it into our other car and then get a 6 for this as we add more stuff. I can see if I can drop it in the center console tomorrow and get some photos or see if it will fit.

Update! Got some free time and had two spontaneous trips this week. We headed out to Anza Borrego for a few nights of camping. We got lucky and ended up setting up camp at this awesome spot. Had plenty of time to get some proper photos...

Then a few days later we were back on the road for a daytrip to Joshua Tree with some friends! Of course it was a high winds day with gusts around 25mph and some gnarly dust storms. It made for some incredible views once we got deeper into the park.

Another weekend, another fun getaway. This time we headed up towards Death Valley for a weekend of camping! Sold the RTT last weekend so we ended up sleeping in the rig for the first time. With the rear sliding tray it was already level, all we needed was a foam pad and our inflatable pads and we were set. Temperatures were cool but comfy at night. Definitely going to car camp again until our new RTT comes in!

Spent some of the recent days researching future projects, and I think my next few changes will be some sort of on board air setup, and a proper drawer system!

I do wish I opted for the 6 shooter. Might take this out and put it into our other car and then get a 6 for this as we add more stuff. I can see if I can drop it in the center console tomorrow and get some photos or see if it will fit.

I'm interested in the Trigger options but struggle with the fitment of the switches.

• Did you go with the 6-switch and got that mounted up?
