Any whistling with that roof rack wind fairing and light bar setup? I notice the ends of your fairing aren't quite flush with the roof line. Mine aren't either. Since installing my lightbar, I have a noticeable whistling between 20-40 mph. It goes away when I get faster. Thanks!

Honestly I never hear it because I always have music playing or the exhaust / motor sound is much louder than the wind noise

That's usually what I do too if I'm around town. Drowns out any wind noise/whistling.

Put in the Pedal Commander Bluetooth model...

Alot better than the 2nd Gen Sprint Booster I had. Especially with 4.88's and 35's ... Makes it more peppy but not feeling it's launching all the time. So I'm cruising around on City +1 ... But tries Sport +4 launches like a rape ape!!! And having the option to lock it onto eco mode is awesome...

I had finally started my 3rd Row Project w/ AK1 Motorsports pulling the labor...

I found out that the bolt holes for the Seat Belt anchors both upper and lowers arent there from the factory. So AK1 Motorsports had to buy factory bolts and weld them in ...

so I'm going to make this post as detailed as possible...

This pic is where upper passenger side D pillar. Where the factory anchor is suppose to be :

Heres the driver side D pillar with the welded nut:

Here they cleaned and painted the welds:

Ok heres the issue with the lower seat belt anchor bolts:

The bolt holes for the rear seat panels where there ... so we had to put in rivet nuts:

so I had intention to put in the sliding 2nd Row seats but the junk yard I bought them at ... Would shipped them to me because they had bad dry rot and ended up refunding me my money...

So had issues with dealing with the rear panels. Whether to modify what I had from the factory or used the 3rd row rear panels.

the difference and break down is :

the 3rd row seat rear panels dont have the slots for the folding 2nd row seats. But the 2nd row folding seats does not have holes for the 3rd row seat belts. This was a dilemma; and ended up modifying my folding 2nd row panels. Which was easier ...

With lessons learn from reading Demello's build thread ... I found out that the seat bolt holes are all under neath the thin sheet metal. So we laid the seats down and marker all the holes. I sadly dont have pics for this procedure but pls refer to Demello's build thread.

Heres the seats put in place with out the rear storage box :

ended up keeping the storage box just for the cleaner look:

I had no pics of the airbag install as of yet but will post as soon as I get them.... stay tuned!!!

Just an update!!! I found out today that 2010 to 2013 there's a difference between air bags... But Toyota converted to just using a single design air bag from 2014 on up...

Meaning 2010 to 2013 only 4runners with 3rd rows got the air bags that extends to the D pillar. While 2014+ all models got the air bags that extends to the D pillar.

This was verified visually and by part numbers from Toyota dealer.

I finally got the duckets to replace my Weather Tech crappy liners ... Just wasn't happy with them. So I replaced them with these bad ass 3D Maxpider Kagu Rubber floor matts.

They dont go up as high as the weather techs but they look better overall and dont flop around ...

i scored my 3rd row and 2nd row kagu liners off amazon warehouse too! I love these mats. Just couldnt justify the normal price for the front pass and driver so i found some weather techs for 20 dollars off craigslist

Eco mode is definitely laggy. It will save you some gas by dulling the pedal response; even further than factory. It would be dangerous because even when you mash the gas to make it go; it doesn't. Be for warned that power and acceleration isn't going to be there on eco mode.

And I'm on 4.88's ... I can't imagine how that is on stock gears...

The conversion is done. I had them keep the storage box behind the second row seats. They also found seat belt inserts for the rear. Because of that they didnt need to use the upper panels.

So to finalized... In my case I only needed the 3rd row seats and the rear seat belts...

heres the pics... Because I had them keep the storage box. The 3rd row seats doesnt fold down all the way. But its what I wanted ...

because of the addition of the 3rd row seats... I've really fallen in love with the utility of this rig... Now I have an excuse to use the roof rack now because Ive lost alot of cargo / trunk space from the use of the 3rd row seats...

Well the total in parts only fell to $300 bucks for the rear seats and seat belts... I spent extra buying upper and lower panels and air bags... Which I didn't need...

As for the labor I got hooked up can't really say how much. You would have to speak to AK1 Motorsports for that. But I did quoted by Demello for $1000 for labor...

I had my ICON's rebuilt by Brockton Auto Clinic in Riverside... picked it up this morning.

Oh how I miss what factory fresh ICONS felt like...

And I also installed my Center Console safe ... needed one because I have along road trip ahead. Need a place to store my valuables..
