Thanks for the update. I was wondering about that. The garnish piece on the pro is installed the same way at the factory that we install the aftermarket one on ours I’m assuming. That’s why I wondered about the gap on that too. Honestly the only difference between the one we’ve gotten and the OEM is the letters come pre-installed on the OEM. Must be why it costs $600, labor for the letter install.

Good thing the pro owner didn’t see you snooping around his rig.

thank you for the video. i just got mine in the mail. i seen a lot of install videos but i like yours because it added painting the grille (i plan to wrap mine), installing before the top grille is added, and partially taking off some of the 3m tape to be able to make last second adjustments.

I am sure 99% of people out there won't paint theirs. Knowing there has been reviews of the plastic fading, I chose to paint the piece to prevent this.

I’ve had mine for a few months and haven’t had any fading at all. No need to paint IMHO.

Few months is not what causes the fading. Also, we have been in winter months. TX or not, you haven't had yours through summer heat, yet.
