IPCW Tail Lights installed.

Do the red rings actually light up? I cant seem to find any information about that. The ones I just received the white bulb in the middle is the turn signal, the bottom led's are the brake light, the upper led's come on with the headlights but the red ring did not turn on. Any help would be appreciated

i think it just a reflector, the flash from his camera light it up.
you can save your money and do what i did with my tail lights, converted the stock signals as additional back up lights. and use the stock brake lights as turn signal.

Thanks for the response. I had already bought them for really cheap on eBay. They were open box no returns. But the idea of changing the turn signal on the stock ones to be the brake lights sounds awesome! The extra reverse bulb seems easy enough but how did you change the brakes to be the turn signal?

well there is a product call tail as turn signals by diode dynamics, there is a plug and play for the 5th gen, but since there is nothing for the 4th gen, i just bought the stand alone module and do some rewiring.

Thanks for sending me that! That looks really good. I may look into doing this with my stock ones
