Which gives us enough time to waste money for the holidays, save money, get more products, and a bigger discount.

Keep in mind that SW will always lie to you about lead times even after you order, everytime I called they would give me a new excuse, the laser cutter was always the most common. Don't bet on seeing the bumper before 6 months!


Also don't forget to factor in about $175 for shipping unless you demand they ship it free after waiting 9months like I did

I am in for Sliders on the 5th Gen. I can't wait to remove the rockers on the limited and bolt on those sliders. I have a couple ideas on what to do with the panel but don't know what I will do. It may just be left as is. I will respond to your PM.

From past experiences they require 100% payment up front.

My buddy just bought a 4th gen Runner so he might be interested in the sliders if delivery time is reasonable.

Hi Guys, on the lead time issue, the biggest problem has always been getting the laser cut parts. We just spent a huge amount of cash buying our very own equipment! Stage one is scheduled for week of 12/6. Stage two happens in mid January.

I'm very excited about this. It's more that a bit scary too, but we WILL without a doubt be able to drop lead times a lot. New products will come out much quicker and easier....which will mean more new products we probably wouldn't have bothered with before. We will be able to accommodate more custom requests, and we will be able to do rush orders for those who need something really fast (like 2-3 weeks tops) and are willing to pay for a little overtime to make it happen.

Most of all we will have control to make things happen for our customers w/o being dependent on outside suppliers....finally! All of it should be up and running by the end of January.

I should be able to commit to 6 weeks MAX for sliders and 12 weeks MAX for bumpers. Let's wait and see what all you guys decide you want, then when you are ready to order, I'll look it all over and make you a firm commitment. If we don't hit it, I'll give you an additional 10% off. How that for putting your money where you mouth is?

Thanks Jim for your input. MANY people love your product but many MORE are turned off by the wait times others have experienced in the past. I suspect their are several people with itchy trigger fingers looking for a steel bumper. With other companies now coming out with their own version (Aluminess, Perkins Performance, Demello, etc.) I think your new ability to crank out bumpers in a timely manner will keep you on top. :cheers:

I hope that deadline works for everyone would be too crazy to get this going through the holidays with everyone not being home, expenses and so on so forth.

Thanks for the commitment on the shipping time, some users are messaging me stating if you pass that shipping date there should be some sort of penalty.
