Everyone who participated in this GB understood SW customer service wasn't the best and the lead times would be up in the air.

But we got in 26 freakin orders, they're doing something right.

Sorry you don't like their sugarcoated response but I will continue to buy from SW.

I am not trying to complain about the length of the time its taking to be shiped, my problem was the false shipments promises that kept coming. After a few calls I got all different answers that where no where close to each other showing me no progress being done to my product that has been paid for about 4 months now which is considered very unacceptable to me. These are the notes I have in your order. These notes are brief, designed for internal use normally, and are basically so that we can keep track of when people called and what was said.

These are the notes from your order:
11/29 - order processed
11/30 - customer added Med Windshield Banner and Med Gray Tshirt to order
12/20 - Status call. End of feb
1/18 - Status call. End of feb still
2/9 - Status call. 3wks, upset about group buy.

I'm not sure if maybe there were other calls we didn't note or what, but it still hasn't even been 3 months yet which was the original estimate. Three months is the end of Feb. Worst case we might miss that by 1 week.

Do I have the right order, order ID #4745? I'm not sure what to make of the 4 months and such....

Well I think the way you make promises on delivery is on topic !

No I won't be calling to discuss it , and this is not your thread , it's in the general discussion area not vendor area .

As note in my earlier post you still make no apology for your poor service !
On top of all that you're not even a vendor on this forum , so how you can have links posted here with group buys is beyond me , vendors are suppose to pay a fee to sell their products on this forum .

Shrockworks sucks, plain and simple! i knew it was too good to be true that would be able to pull off a clean group buy without screwing several people, thats just the regular MO for them. "Customer service wasn't the best"? their customer service is the worst around. the only reason so many people have their product now is because the were one of the first with a bumper for the 4th gen, now there are so many more choices- DeMello Offroad has a killer bumper and i just saw CBI's front bumper and its kickass! those are just 2 of the several available now and they have impeccable customer service records. As for sliders, Stubbs Welding has way more high quality options that shrockworks and 4 different layouts for the 4th gen alone, and if you want custom its never a issue, lastly 2 weeks from order date to delivered at my door for sliders from Stubbs, thats something Shrockworks could never touch!

For years Shrockworks just takes orders and collects money from customers till they are ready to get off their ass and start making product. they always blame delays on third party vendors- "oh the laser cutter called in sick" and "the powdercoater had massive diarrhea and was on the toilet all day" excuse after excuse thats all they are good for! im sorry for all you guys out there that spend your hard earned money on a product that could take up to 9 months to see

LOL I find it absolutely hilarious we got cats coming out the woodwork once orders are being shipped out on time or even earlier.

But yet were pure silent and not heard from when this GB was being started.

I'm sure you were part of the 6k views constantly lurking just itching for SW to have a hitch in their step.

Btw, just got the shipping confirmation email a month earlier than expected, amazing.

Keep in mind that SW will always lie to you about lead times even after you order, everytime I called they would give me a new excuse, the laser cutter was always the most common. Don't bet on seeing the bumper before 6 months!


Also don't forget to factor in about $175 for shipping unless you demand they ship it free after waiting 9months like I did

The fact that you waited "9 months" for your order just says how much you value/valued SW.

Will that pallet (or however it arrives) fit in the back of the runner or do I need my trailer just in case? I have to head for the border to pick it up.

jacal, the pallet may not, but the bumper definitely will. You'll need a 1/2" wrench to get the bumper off the pallet. Otherwise, you'll probably need a small trailer.

My sliders got here today. A little over a week late(9 weeks 1 day). Told me they were ready to ship out on the 9th(day late) so I sent my payment. Said they'd be sent out that day, I wasn't going to freak out over a day, but they didn't get sent out until the 11th..

Quality looks to be great and they are how I ordered them. Got my t-shirt and stickers. I'm just worried whether the holes will line up.

Doubt Shrockworks is going to be giving me my 12% back though..

Just means my brother won't be ordering a bumper from them.

Sent you an email, but I looked at the calender again and I'm thinking I added wrong. Payment was sent and order was processed on Dec. 21st. When I look at the calender I either count 9 weeks 1 day or 8 weeks 1 day..
