Also I had installed the Baxter Performance oil filter adapter a couple weeks ago so I could use a regular spin on oil filter.
I had to modify the factory skid to clear the filter I used because of the piece sticking up on factory skid I had to hammer that a bit and cut some out.

With the CBI skids it cleared great with 3 inches to spare so that was another plus and seems easy enough to replace filter without removing the skids now.

What oil filter did you end up with ??? Using the CBI and BP adapter

I used both the NAPA GOld 1085 and 1068 I cant remember now which one was the longest and it fit with plenty of clearance. And that one I think the 1068 is something like 4 times the filtering surface area of the factory filter element. Yea with the CBI skid there is lots of room

I just got the BP adapter. Getting sick and tired of someone else doing my oil change.

Yea any filter with the correct thread will work. You could even find one thats a little longer and get even more filtration

I went and bought a new dash display from a 2014 4runner I think? and installed it using the custom harness from the below thread. It went in easy and I like having the info on the dash. I believe it also displays crawl control info when im using those too.

Today I installed an oil catch can, good thing to do on any engine. Ran it off the PCV valve into the catch can then back to the intake where the PCV originally went back in.

I used an existing bolt on the front of the engine to mount it here, as a pretty easy mod only taking half hour of sorting out where to run things and mounting.

The link for the dash kit is dead, any more info on it? Also do you have a link for the catch can you purchased?

Yea I remember a while back for some reason the website shut him down from building and selling the wire harnesses. They did the same thing to me on another forum for a different harness. If the website is not making money from it they dont allow it. Even though thats the whole point of a forum in the first place is to invent and share knowledge. its sad.

I dont remember what catch can I bought. it was the same as hundreds of other universal cans on amazon or ebay

Thank you again I just ordered my a bunch of Wix 51068 which is the equivalent to the napa ones ... excited on doing my own oil changes again. Problem is I need to figure out how to get the factory one off ... and install the BP adapter

Did you use the standard Toyota TRD wheels? Or the 3rd party ones? I have a TRD PRO looking to lift and run 285/70 17s on. I am hoping to run with the stock TRD Pro wheels until I can find more funds for new wheels. Trying to keep costs down as I have front bumper winch and lightbar coming too.
