It’s confusing, there are several choices for the bulbs that show up for your search. You have to carefully read the bulb descriptions on the site.
BTW, the 7443 designation indicates two “filaments”. A dim filament for running lights with headlights On, and a bright filament for blinking mode. The 7440 has one “filament” for a bright mode, as for the rear turn signal blinker.

Yeah, if you check out my video in the first post, I do point out how to tell the difference between the lights by just looking at the LEDs.

Well...I'm back with a new issue.

Installed the new lights, loved them. Was driving today and all of a sudden I got a hyperflash. Got home and the front right flasher wont work but it works for a parking light.

Everything was working as it should but now it doesn't.

Thoughts?

I just installed the front and rear turn signals last week and they are super bright and I have been momentarily dazed if I happen to be staring right at it when unlocking from the rear lol

I had some issues with install of the rear that I had to remove the whole tail light assembly to fit the bulb in. There just wasn't enough slack to maneuver the longer bulb through. While removing one of the tail light assembly, I cracked some paint where the top of the taillight meets the back panel which was annoying. I will have to touchup paint it now to prevent rust.

There’s an open connection somewhere in the bulb high power circuit. Possibilities:
One of the bulb’s pins isn’t making contact with the socket. Is it bent or broken? Maybe it’s not seated well in the socket. You’ll need to get in there and check. Remove it and check the bulb pins. Straighten them out if bent. Check the socket pins if you can see in there to make sure they’re OK and not spread apart too far. Re-install the bulb and try the lights and flashers again. If it still doesn’t work re-install your old OEM bulb to make sure it works in that socket.

(Some of these LED bulbs are long and rather heavy. I worry about them working their way out of the socket with jolts and vibration. So I make sure the socket contacts are snug before inserting the bulb. After testing everything out I add a small dab of a thick adhesive like shoe goo to bridge the bulb body to socket body and hold it in place better. Externally, don’t get any glue in the actual socket where it can get in the pins.)

The other possibility that is the bulb just failed. You can try testing the bulb’s high and low functions on the bench with clip leads and a 9 volt battery or a power supply. Or just return it. There’s a warranty on them, you can contact the vendor for a replacement.

My Lasfit bulbs would hyperflash randomly when they overheated. It would be sporadic and would stop if I turned the flasher off and then back on usually

Pulled the bulb and connections look okay, didn't have time to throw it on the multimeter but still have hyperflash.

Talking with Lasfit but they are difficult and seem to only be in the office at night (overseas I assume).

My guess is they'll replace it.

I told him he was crazy and that I have heard of tons of people running them without issue, that in a previous email chain, HE suggested them, and that it was a warranty issue and needed to be replaced. Finally he replied that they would send out a new pair.

Little frustrating but in the end they warrantied their product.

I told him he was crazy and that I have heard of tons of people running them without issue, that in a previous email chain, HE suggested them, and that it was a warranty issue and needed to be replaced. Finally he replied that they would send out a new pair.

Little frustrating but in the end they warrantied their product.

Yeah... miscommunication and cultural differences can make these exchanges taxing on your patience, but I hope that the replacements get you fixed up.

So far I've had mine in for the past 12,000 miles. I've had no major problems, and I've only see them hyperblink once during a ridiculously long time with the blinker on in hot weather. I also agree with [MENTION=200736]ElectroBoy[/MENTION] - these bulbs are large and heavy. Falling out of the socket is a concern especially on rough terrain.
