The Longest Haul?

I've done some big trips with the mighty 2nd gen. 213xxx miles and running strong. So what about everyone else? What's the biggest trip you've ever ran the t4r for. (consecutively. gas and restroom stops obviously dont count) I think my longest was about 600 miles. 10 Hours that engine ran. That's pretty mind blowing for me! So let's hear it guys, I wanna hear some stories too.

Consecutively I'd say roughly 450 miles, but altogether 5000 miles. I took my 3rd gen from Harrisonburg Virginia to Los Angles California and back. That was all in one trip. I happened to run across a 1st gen on the way lol.

My longest pull without stopping has been just under 800 miles. Fourteen hours.

I drove straight through from Steamboat Springs Colorado to Oklahoma State University (just over 800mi). Took a while, I drove all afternoon and through the night, then after a short stop at my friend house I continued onto Houston Texas (about 400mi). It was an exhausting trip but My runner was completely stock back then and I was on a MISSION!

When I moved to South Dakota from southeast Ohio, that run was around 1300 miles in my '94 3.0 auto 2nd Gen.

Completed another trip back east this summer, Vancouver, BC to just north of Toronto, ON and back. Roughly 4,400 kms one way, pretty much burned straight through on the way there swapping with my co-pilot. Did the trip in about 42 hrs with only 1 stop outside of Flint, MI for a couple hours of shut eye. Love that drive! Took our time coming back tho, I've made that trek 5 or 6 times now (only 1 in the Runner tho the rest were in my 89 pickup), and in the current stages of planning a trip to Panama.

haha definitely not something you see everyday. Its one of the highlights of Route 66. The way the town has stayed classic and how the Donkeys roam around the town is just awesome!

From my house to Ouray CO was right at 2k miles one way, then a week in the area. then 2k miles home. When I left my house, I was at 307xxx miles, when I got home I was at 312,xxx. In the 4 months since then, it's been wheeled in 4 other states, and has 322,xxx miles. It will probably have 335k on it when I head back to Colorado next summer.

I think I'm at a solid 90 minutes (many, many times) in my '87. Shameful.

I should probably take it somewhere cool. I was thinking of southern Utah's national parks this winter. That'd be about 250 miles one way.
