Where did you find this radio for $200 new?

I found it on CL a day before I was about to shell out big money for one. I had been looking for 3 weeks before I found it. I live near Nike so you probably have seen me driving around the area

It was definitely a smoking deal. The guy maybe used it once. The plastic piece was still in the remote and he didn't even know that the face detached.

Ordered my projector retrofit and a new pair of TYC headlights yesterday. I think I will be painting the housings millennium silver to match my truck. Anyone have painted to match headlights?

Yeah it was on CL. I looked at a few before I bought this one. People want insane amounts of money for a 15 to 21 year old truck. I can't believe it

People always ask a fortune for 15-20 year old vehicles that are of great quality, look timeless and last forever! Look at the value of a 20 year old BMW 7 Series. lol.

Haven't updated this in a hot minute. Been busy with school starting this week but I was still able to do a few things to the runner. Got the airaid put in and messed around with the retrofits

So I finished and installed my retrofits. It wasn't that difficult just a tedious process when I have neighbors walking up to me and asking me what I'm doing. They are very very interested about what I am going to do next. hahaha. I need to take them back out and mess with the cutoff and aim them properly but they will work for now.

I sold my first gen in June of 2015 and took a year off from having a runner. I got the urge to have another 4runner in my life about 6 months ago and have always wanted a 3rd gen. So I searched and searched looking for the "one" when I finally found something decent enough for me to pay for. I found a 2000 limited with a first gen supercharger and hood scoop. I always liked the way hood scoops looked on 3rd gens so this was a no brainer that I needed it. Dude wanted $7000 and I got him down to $5200. She has 265000 with a clear title. I think she came with a lift but I haven't looked yet, seems to be maybe 2 inches. More to come in the future but I have a solid platform to start over. Any advice on best lift set ups, bumpers, interior, engine upgrades, or anything else is greatly appreciated.

Been a hot minute since I have updated this so here it goes. I received my FN wheels yesterday and took them in to get installed. I had a few questions about backspacing and offset so I decided to call Les Schwab this morning to hopefully get some answers. Of course they told me they wouldn't fit, just like they told me 285's wouldn't fit. So I took the plunge and headed over to discount tire. Didn't even tell them the specs on my wheels and they installed with no issues. They rub on the front fender lining but that's all. I also received my tundra 5100's and my toytec/eibach front coils as well as my panhard correction kit. Going to be an awesome weekend of lifting hopefully.

I haven't done the upgrade yet but these rims will fit over the TBU

Wheels and retrofits look great man. Did you end up painting the housings millennium silver, or just a generic silver? Hard to tell, but they look great. I wanna do another set painted thunder cloud. I like the chrome 'cause it looks the most factory, but I think color-matched would be sick.
Haven't had a chance to install the lift yet?! You need a garage and a hand to help or what? If it's worth the drive for you, we can use my place [emoji1360]
